If the TapHome app is running on a wall-mounted tablet, you can configure the operating system to keep the app in the foreground.
Kiosk Mode on iOS (iPad)
TapHome detects when the operating system is running in Guided Access mode. When this mode is enabled, the app remains locked in the foreground until the mode is disabled (triple-click the side button + access code).
How to Keep TapHome in the Foreground
- In iOS Settings, go to Accessibility → Guided Access and turn it on
- Open TapHome and start Guided Access with a triple-click of the side button
Options
In the TapHome app, go to Settings → App Settings , where you can enable Keep Screen On , especially if your power button is covered by a wall mount.
Kiosk Mode on Android
Android supports Screen Pinning, which locks one app in the foreground and disables the Home button.
How to Keep TapHome in the Foreground
- In Android Settings, open Security → Advanced → App pinning and turn on App pinning
- Open TapHome → Settings → App Settings and enable Screen Pinning

User Authentication (Face ID)

To prevent unauthorized use of the TapHome app (for example, by children), enable Face ID authentication in Settings → App Settings → Require user authentication .
Face ID authentication works only on iOS devices that support Face ID or Touch ID.
How to Enable Face ID Authentication
- Open the TapHome app
- Go to Settings
- Select App Settings
- Enable Require user authentication
After activation, the app requires authentication using Face ID or Touch ID each time it is opened.
