Packet Parser (HTTP, TCP, UDP, FTP, MQTT)

Overview

The Packet Parser is a hardware interface within TapHome that enables connection of third-party devices to the controller. It facilitates communication between devices and the control unit via WiFi or LAN using TCP/IP protocol.

To access this feature, navigate to: Settings → Hardware → Add new interface → Packet parser

Scripting Language

The system utilizes a proprietary scripting language specifically designed for TapHome. This language manages connected devices and governs their communication with the controller.

Automatic Configuration Using Templates

Configure third-party device connections using TapHome's Packet parser feature with pre-built templates from the GitHub repository.

Manual configuration
